The Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District was established in December 2010 to support the vitality of the Ocean Avenue corridor. In 2025, the district was successfully renewed and expanded to include the Lakeside Village commercial corridor from 19th Avenue to Junipero Serra Boulevard. The nonprofit Ocean Avenue Association manages the district, focusing on cleaning and maintenance, safety, marketing, and streetscape improvements that help strengthen the neighborhood and support local businesses.
