ABOUT THE BOARD
The Ocean Avenue Association Community Benefit District (OAACBD) Board of Directors provides leadership and oversight to ensure our district remains a vibrant, welcoming place for businesses, residents, and visitors. Our mission is to preserve the neighborhood’s multicultural heritage while fostering modern improvements and services.
What the Board Does:

Guide priorities for cleaning, safety, marketing, and community programs

Oversee the services outlined in the Management District Plan

Hold public meetings throughout the year to share updates and hear from the community
Board Membership: The OAACBD Board is made up of property owners, business owners, residents, and at-large members who bring diverse perspectives to their leadership. Board members are elected to three-year terms, with a limit of two terms.
Expectations:

Attend quarterly board meetings in person.

Participate in committees or working groups as needed

Maintain active engagement by asking questions, offering feedback, and supporting the district’s goals
