The Ocean Avenue Association Community Benefit District (OAACBD) Board of Directors provides leadership and oversight to ensure our district remains a vibrant, welcoming place for businesses, residents, and visitors. Our mission is to preserve the neighborhood’s multicultural heritage while fostering modern improvements and services.
 

What the Board Does:

  • Guide priorities for cleaning, safety, marketing, and community programs

  • Oversee the services outlined in the Management District Plan

  • Hold public meetings throughout the year to share updates and hear from the community

 

Board Membership: The OAACBD Board is made up of property owners, business owners, residents, and at-large members who bring diverse perspectives to their leadership. Board members are elected to two-year terms, with half of the Board elected each year.

 

Expectations:

  • Attend monthly board meetings, held usually each 3rd Monday of each month 

  • Participate in committees or working groups as needed

  • Maintain active engagement by asking questions, offering feedback, and supporting the district’s goals
