🌟 Voting is Now Open: Support Art Pop-Ups on Ocean Avenue!

We’re excited to share that our community proposal—Art Pop-Up Events on Ocean Avenue—has made it to the final voting stage in the 2025–2026 District 7 Participatory Budgeting process!
Starting today, June 9, community members can cast their votes to help decide which local projects receive public funding. This year, $400,000 will be awarded to 8 projects that aim to improve our neighborhoods—and we’re proud to be one of them.
Our proposal builds on a successful activation held in June 2024, where we transformed Ocean Avenue with art, music, and cultural programming hosted at small businesses. This new series would expand those efforts, bringing even more creative energy, community connection, and local support to the corridor.
These pop-ups will:
Highlight local artists and performers
Activate vacant storefronts and public spaces
Support small businesses with increased foot traffic
Create inclusive, joyful moments that bring neighbors together
We believe in the power of art to transform neighborhoods—and we need your help to make it happen.
